For the filling:

500 g (about 1 lb) ground meat (beef or chicken)
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped (optional)
2 hard-boiled eggs (chopped)
1 cup black olives (chopped)
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of oil
Instructions
Prepare the filling:

In a large skillet, heat the oil and add the onion. Sauté until translucent.
Add the red bell pepper and ground meat. Cook until the meat is browned.
Stir in the cumin, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook for a few more minutes.
Remove from heat and mix in the chopped hard-boiled eggs and olives. Set aside.
Prepare the corn mixture:

Add melted butter if desired and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
In a baking dish, spread the meat mixture evenly on the bottom.
Pour the corn mixture over the meat, covering it completely.
