Is the US american target demographic really appealed by such boring and oldfashioned stuff? German young adults wouldn't even notice such an ad since everything in this ad seems to say: "This ad is for senior citizen".

I dislike so much that kind of comments based empty arguments. There is good and bad advertising everywhere. You can say whatever you want, but there is something that is undeniable: The US has amazing ad agencies that over the time have produced fantastic ad campaigns recognized by all kind of international shows.
Anybody who appreciates good advertising work, is able to admire the work done by agencies like Fallon, CP+B, Goodby and many others that have become legendary because of their astonishing creativity.
By the way, I am not American. I just love good advertising, wherever it comes from.
US advertising is very good, so is South American, european and australia advertising. What about singapour, malaysia. There's some great agencies in North africa...did I forget to mention Asia?
The people behind is a burden (as peer pressure) not to let them change you. The copy was phrase wrongly i suppose. Art direction can definitely be improve too!
This looks way too much like a collage and not enough contrast but great sharpen. The background photography is great though.
Big problem with the shadows...
Considering the contrast, you have a 3h pm sun, the shadow should be right at her feet not 10 feet long. The picnic table is a real joke.
More I see details and more I say to myself not to spend time to comment.
