Black Friday Rescue League: Grizzly

In the U.S., the day after the Thanksgiving holiday is called Black Friday. People stand in line at stores in the wee hours of the morning to get in on "door-buster" deals. Black Friday is often associated with shoppers who selfishly exhibit violence to get the deals they want, so we established the Rescue League to provide a safer alternative by shopping with retailers online.

I like the ad, but what kind of world we live in? In one country overdoing shopping is a problem while in other countries kids are dying of hunger?

You're right, though showing compassion isn't an ethical obligation. But this ad is a bit weird nonetheless.

Hmm. Jack Mancer or Schweitzer? Tough decision.

That's what happens when we wake up and realise we're in an industry that makes people buy shit they don't need, morse.

CP, thats precisely how I describe what it is I do when people ask. Of course our brand planners would vehemently disagree. I wonder why?

Or, to disagree with myself below, maybe it's because brand planners are programmed for unidirectional thought, bless them. While we can hate and love in polyequanamity, as soon as we confirm that word... (there, it does now)... exist(s).

@CommandZ: Because we got in to our industry or got in late and better before people knew there was a difference between that and 'into' with a mission to hate our industry by loving it so hard by making it work so diligently for its dollar that it would sweat a good Christmas before it breathed a new year of trying hard again to serve our sullied souls?

Is it just me or does this campaign not make sense?

It's not just you. It doesn't really get across the whole "OK, so avoid the madness, shop online". It just confuses. Beautiful visuals though.

Concept by committee?

Sad really, but these ads would be no better or worse if the copy was Lorem Ipsum.

I use the same paper texture from CG Textures frequently. I love it, too.
