Don't like the line.

It stresses that the floor only looks like the real wooden ones, but everything else, such as quality, is not the same.

It should stress the similarity between the two, not the difference.

A line without the twist, such as "Looks just like the real thing" would have been better in my opinion.

But nice campaign nonetheless.

at first i thought it was interesting, and perhaps a wax sculpture of a guy.... then i realised it was a cheap look-alike.

great message though "You'd think is quality wood...but it's not!"

is it that our product ONLY looks like XYZ but otherwise there is nothing in it!!!

come on guys... that not the way to strategize & position your product in the market / to your target audience...

I saw the ad in a magazine with the "Lucille Ball" look-a-like, then saw the line - "It only looks like the real thing" I think it is the most clever piece of advertising I ever saw. I normally would just page over and ignore a flooring ad if I am not in the market to purchase, but your ad stopped me dead cold. When I saw her picture, I immediately looked for an explanation of why there was a look-a-like, and that's when I saw the line - "It only looks like the real thing." Great!

I absolutely LOVE your ads...I've clipped them out and started a folder. I have Jimmy Dean, Marlon Brando, Lucille Ball and Dean Martin. Can't wait to see who you do next. The ads are very eye catching. First you stop at the celebrity image and then look at the floor being advertised. The whole composition of the ads is great and so is the premise..."It only looks like the real thing". GREAT ADVERTISING!!!
