I am not sure the line "Grass is dumb....." works for me. Wouldn't it have been better if it conveyed the fact that one shouldn't mind watering less or one could afford to water less- for grass.
And yeah right to left!
The Grass is Dumb line is an interesting approach. The fact that it doesn't just narrow it down to saving $ and water is interesting, though Use Only What You Need is an order, and being ordered to do something doesn't sit too well with the public. Made me smile, though. I like it.

Love it. Made me smile when I saw it.
People remember ads that are witty and clever. An ad that says "don't water your grass and save $$$" isn't as likely to be remembered as "grass is dumb".
This ad puts a new spin on an old message. I think it is great!
