Half-Truths are Lies Too

School: Miami Ad School

Description

Political division is now in the media too, so biased reporting is becoming normalised. Naturally, people don’t believe the news anymore.
So we created a satirical series of posters that address the rise in biased reporting in today’s mainstream media. In these fictional obituaries, infamous dictators are made to seem positive, showing how half truths are lies too, and are just as dangerous as fake news.

This student campaign titled 'Half-Truths are Lies Too' was published in Germany in September, 2020. It was created for the brand: The New York Times, by ad school: Miami Ad School. This Print medium campaign is related to the Media industry and contains 3 media assets. It was submitted over 3 years ago.
