This week, the Minnesota Lottery and creative AOR Betty, a Quad agency, are debuting their latest creative work for the new refresh of its daily lotto game “North 5,” which has players saying, “Wait, whaaaaat?!”
On top of the refresh, the game now includes a new instant win feature called EZ Match. For an additional dollar, EZ Match offers a chance to win $2 to $500 now and the jackpot later during the nightly drawings.
The campaign features a man who inquires about the North 5 game at the convenience store. His “wait, what?” exclamation becomes increasingly exuberant — and long — as he learns more about the game’s new features and increased odds to win, echoing the excitement of Minnesotans ages 18+ playing North 5 with EZ Match.
The campaign launched February 3rd and will run regionally across broadcast TV, connected TV, pre-roll, YouTube, native, display, GumGum (in-screen expandable video), social media and print through the end of March.
