In 2023, Stella Artois entered the world of tennis by sponsoring the major Grand Slam and ATP tournaments worldwide. This collaboration raised an interesting question: How do we create a closer relationship between Stella Artois and tennis?
The answer was always in the clay.
Roland Garros. the most important tournament in the world, is played on clay, the same material used in ceramics. That's why we used the raw material from its courts to celebrate the Perfect Serves. both on and off the court.
IDEA
We took clay from each Roland Garros court to create hundreds of iconic ceramic chalices, handcrafted and molded by France's best ceramicist.
We collected 400 grams of clay for each chalice, presenting them to the players with the best serves at each tournament during TV broadcasts. In addition they were made available to everyone through raffles and for sale to the public attending the tournament.
