As our lives have become more hectic, the ‘slow living’ trend, which involves adopting a slower, more mindful pace of life, is on the rise.
Diageo-owned whisky brand The Singleton is making the process of slowing down a whole lot easier by launching a new experience - called the The Singleton Slow Club, created and devised by We Are Pi.
The Singleton Slow Club is the antidote to the chaos, a space where distractions are checked at the door, and you’re invited to savour a single moment, uninterrupted. It offered an exclusive invitation-only IRL event in Amsterdam dedicated to relaxed, ‘slow’ socialising.
The Singleton is inviting a new generation of whisky drinkers to live mindfully in every moment, and connect more with others. Because every moment you live consciously is a little luxury for yourself.
The first Singleton Slow Club IRL event is called Slow Sounds took place at CUE restaurant in Amsterdam on October 24th. Slow Sounds is the antithesis of the algorithm’s ‘fast food’ approach to music, celebrating music as the artist intended.
The event features renowned DJ Elias Mazian taking the audience on a journey through five tracks that hold personal meaning to him. Each track has its own bespoke cocktail created by a renowned mixologist, transforming sound into flavour. This is more than just listening—it’s a multi-sensory experience designed to help you slow down, immerse yourself fully in the moment, and appreciate the art of music in its entirety.
