We always find the easy way out by logging on to social networking sites and clicking on the 'THUMBS UP' icon that says Like. In India, the same thumbs up icon is also called 'THEINGAA' meaning good for nothing or something that never yield results. So, when the question of empowering a girl child arise, countless people of our nation show the proverbial 'Theingaa'. The 2 posters show a similar intent and are aimed at creating a stark visual imagery that catches the viewer's attention.
Neikee, meaning an act of kindness is a crowd-funding platform, striving hard to change this mindset. Through its various programs, Neikee is supporting causes related to girl child education and intends to create a meaningful difference in the lives of countless girls who dream of making their lives better through the power of education. Neikee believes that every girl has the right to education and it should seem like a distant dream.
