Around the world regularly going to the dentist is considered a tedious but necessary practice. In Sri Lanka however, it is reserved for emergencies and acute pains. Cosmetic applications, such as whitening of teeth, while considered a nice-to-have beautification, does not therefore often encourage a visit.
On the other hand, you can get ‘whiter than white’ teeth by just chewing a gum.
