The Illusion of Peer Pressure
Description
Problem: Peer pressure plays a huge part in getting young people to try something they know is not right, but teens are more likely to ignore the risk in favour of the reward of ‘respect’ from their friends.
Insight: Peer pressure acts as an illusion of the involuntary consumption of illegal substances; it is difficult to see it when you’re in the presence of it up close. FRANK wants to express that people should take a step back and talk to someone if they think they’re a victim of peer pressure.
Idea: A series of digital prints that are optical illusions, showing peer pressure quotes that are easy to see from far away, but difficult to see face to face.
