In 2024 Peru is facing the worst dengue epidemic in its history with 279% more cases than last year.
The reproduction of the dengue mosquito is very particular because it can only lay its eggs in calm waters. Therefore, we designed a self-sustaining agitator to alter the surfaces of any water container and transform its favorite place to lay eggs into one with the worst possible conditions for its reproduction and proliferation, achieving a 92% protection rate to the surface of any water container.
The Guardian Toad is an alternative solution that seeks to help reduce mosquito proliferation and, therefore, the infection rates in high-risk areas where the absence of clean water and extreme climate conditions generate high transmission rates.
