Cuervo, the official tequila of UFC, teamed up with UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall to put real Cuervo opponents to the ultimate blind taste test and challenge their perceptions of the brand.
Introducing “The Cuervo Challenge” – a blind taste test where Cuervo opponents must face their taste perceptions head-on and guess which tequila is Cuervo.
Cuervo debuted this with a piece of content called The Cuervo Challenge: One Round in the Octagon, where the brand put opponents to the test and take the Cuervo Challenge. If they got it wrong, they had to face the ultimate consequence: one round in the Octagon with Tom Aspinall.
Cuervo ultimately reigned victorious, with opponents guessing the wrong tequila. But rather than going head-to-head with Tom Aspinall in the Octagon, they got to enjoy a round of Cuervo with him instead
