The double meaning of the word swallowing is the focal point of this World Alzheimer's Day awareness campaign for Alzheimer Athens, juxtaposing the emotional metaphorical meaning, i.e. having to put up with unpleasant things - familiar to everybody one way or another on a daily basis - with the literal meaning, i.e. that of the fundamental human activity, one of many that dementia patients are struggling to cope with everyday.
