Description

The environmental impact of humankind on nature is catastrophic. As the animals' natural habitats are being destroyed, they move towards human habitats. Roomies from the Wild is a campaign in which WWF Hungary raised the question to us, humans: if forests and wetlands disappear, can the wildlife move in with us?

The Key Visual series showcased through some scenarios that it would not be ideal for either party if the wildlife had no choice but to move in with us, and also highlighted, that we can still choose to protect the animal's natural habitat by donating to WWF. The visuals and the thought-provoking questions flooded social platforms, appeared in digital and magazine ads.

Meanwhile, the wildlife started looking for rooms to rent, even in related Facebook Groups. The boar mom warned the tenants about the kids being a bit ill-mannered, and the lynx swore he wouldn’t eat the human family. A few animals found refuge in the home of influencers, in podcast studios and in newsrooms, and the members of a famous stand-up comedy group also shared their experiences of cohabitation with their wild roomies. People could even imagine themselves in the place of an otter living in a flat with choose-your-adventure type of Instagram Stories and Spotify audiobook episodes.
