This month GIPHY is kicking off two interesting campaigns to help elevate the content that is at the core of GIPHY’s DNA in new ways.
Today, GIPHY Arts announced ‘Public Axis’ bringing commissioned art made by GIPHY artists exclusively to the Roku Channel Store. Available for free on any Roku device or TV in Roku’s Channel Store, Public Axis is a way to bring artist content to a broader audience and allows users to have an upscale viewing experience of original art developed with GIPHY Arts.
As a division of GIPHY devoted to GIF art and artists, GIPHY Arts worked with artists to produce 30 second original shorts with sound. This collection of weird, electric, animated, and expansive Clips by GIPHY Arts’ verified artists is what makes up Public Axis. View the Public Axis catalog here.
Throughout November, GIPHY is running a new 30-second ad running in cinemas throughout New York City and Los Angeles. The new spot is part of our ongoing “Be Animated” campaign that brings animation and entertainment to new and unique places. Composed of 10 different GIPHY Clips (GIFs with sound), the spot weaves together various interpretations of metamorphosis spilling into a quickfire stream of relatable, positive content that the platform is known for.
