Netflix kicked off the Season 3 premiere of its global hit series “Outer Banks” with an immersive music and fan experience like no other on Saturday, February 18, in Huntington Beach, CA. “Poguelandia: An Outer Banks Experience” invited thousands of fans and influencers to paradise on earth—aka Huntington Beach—to live like a “Pogue” for the day. With cast moments, multiple interactive experiences and musical performances, the massive event transported guests to iconic OBX moments and locations.

Creating the ultimate OBX experience
To bring this epic experience to life, Netflix worked with MKG, a leader in brand action and experiential marketing, and its partner, brand consultancy agency Acceleration Community of Companies (ACC) Advisory. All parties worked together to ensure the creative strategy and production went off without a hitch. The partnership between MKG and ACC demonstrated their unique approach of leveraging in-house expertise, and fostering in-house collaboration, to provide best-in-class integrated marketing services to its clients.

The free, one-day event came on the heels of a four-city tour with American Eagle, the show’s official season 3 apparel sponsor, and a premiere event on Feb. 16, also designed and produced by MKG.
