The wildfires that have been occurring in Bolivia in 2023 have not only caused the destruction of 2 million hectares of forest but also resulted in the deaths of thousands of animals. Those who are fighting the fires suffer from a lack of resources and support from the State.
In collaboration with Alas Chiquitanas, a campaign has been launched to raise awareness and provide more than just help to the Park Rangers who risk their lives in the wildfires in precarious conditions. By following the account on Instagram, people will be able to know what is urgently needed, such as clothes, tools, hydration, etc., so that they can continue to fight the uncontrollable fire.
Additionally, we also call upon the government to establish regulations regarding the working conidiations of the Bolivian Park Rangers, including contracts, benefits, insurance, and everything else they currently lack.
