SITUATION
Every year LiMa (Lithuanian Marketing Association) runs a conference based on a single big theme. A New Year was chosen for 2021 to imply brave new tomorrow and hopeful future in the shadow of the pandemic.
CHALLENGE
The challenge we faced was to invite people to kick-off a New Year without being stereotypical with fireworks, confetti, champagne and 12 strikes at midnight.
SOLUTION
The solution came up after realizing that every person perceives a New Year differently, i.e., it might be a new journey, family reunion, resolution list, a new flight of fancy or a sunrise as a symbol of new bright beginning. In other words, everyone creates their own vision of a future.
We’ve combined the concept into the world of mirrors and portals as a symbol of different futures and the event itself. The person in the middle meets personal tomorrow while observing the future.
RESULTS
LiMa was planning to welcome up to 200 guests at the event, yet even 341 had replied and participated. Expectations for online participation were also exceeded with 800 planned and 851 actual visits. Overall 1192 guests had participated instead of planned 1000.
