To celebrate the season of gifting, Walmart is leaning into holiday nostalgia and reuniting customers’ favorite on-screen duos including Luke and Lorelai from Gilmore Girls – to illustrate what they’d gift their loved one to show they really get them.
Luke and Lorelai from Gilmore Girls – played by Scott Patterson and Lauren Graham – are reunited for the first time since 2016 at Luke’s in Starry Hollow during Christmas. In the new spot, Luke gives Lorelai the perfect gift, showing that he really gets her. And he has some delivery help from a familiar Stars Hollow friend, Kirk.
The full campaign comes to life across 15 ads, showcasing a variety of customers and familiar iconic characters who receive a gift just for them, across fashion, tech, and toys. It doesn’t matter how big or small a gift is, it’s about the thoughtfulness and intention behind it so the recipient of the gift truly feels seen.
