Here For A Good Time, Not A Long Time

School: Leeds Arts University

Description

I created this work from a brief set by giffgaff and D&AD for the New Blood Awards 2019. The mobile phone network giffgaff wanted to tell their story. Whilst most people will be familiar with their line ‘the mobile network run by you’, the majority won’t really know what they mean by this. They wanted 800 words of long copy and some follow up social media content. I based my copy around the idea of nostalgia and the early days of mobile phones, and how much has changed in such a short space of time. I created what would be a sponsored online article split into three sections. The article works like giffgaff do, you can stay as long as you want or leave whenever. However much you choose to read, you will still come away knowing the brand’s story, but the longer you stay, the more you get out of it – just like being a giffgaff customer. This work went on to win a New Blood Pencil.

This student campaign titled 'Here For A Good Time, Not A Long Time' was published in United Kingdom in July, 2019. It was created for the brand: giffgaff, by ad school: Leeds Arts University. This Digital medium campaign is related to the Electronics, Technology industry and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted over 5 years ago by Evan Gilsenan .
