Description
We created 4 mysterious Twitter accounts called '@INeedAWeeAgain', '@MyTummyHurts', '@BloatedBelly" and '@FeelFullQuickly' and followed thousands of people. Despite the accounts being verified and tweeting very regularly, they got ignored. On World Ovarian Cancer Day 2022, it was revealed that those people had all been #FollowedByCancer. The accounts were the 4 main symptoms of ovarian cancer. Symptoms that in real life, are also easy to ignore. In fact, 90% of women don't know what they are and because they are so common, they often get overlooked, leading to late diagnosis and devastatingly low survival rates. #FollowedByCancer in an integrated campaign that was created to raise awareness of the disease on Twitter and beyond.
This professional campaign titled '#FollowedByCancer' was published in United Kingdom in May, 2022. It was created for the brand: Ovarian Cancer Action, by ad agencies: TBWA and TBWA\London. This Direct, Integrated, and OOH Outdoor media campaign is related to the Health industry and contains 3 media assets. It was submitted over 2 years ago by Art Director: Gemina Gil Flores of TBWA\LONDON.
