Frito-Lay says “FU” to the new school year in a fiery new brand campaign to help raise scholarship dollars for the HBCU Texas Southern University, featuring music by Squeak E. Clean Studios. To kick off the campaign, Frito-Lay launched the “Flamin’ Hot University” spot featuring none other than the iconic hot girl and TSU alumna, Megan Thee Stallion.
In the spot, rapper Megan Thee Stallion becomes the spirited tour guide, leading the audience on a lively campus tour of Flamin' Hot University (FU). In the spirit of FU, she introduces viewers to the university's innovative spaces, sports facilities, and the Flamin’ Hot dining hall selections. As the tour concludes, Megan leaves the audience with the catchy school slogan, 'Go places hot girls go,' capturing the fiery spirit of the Flamin' Hot brand. The brand campaign aims to generate up to $150,000 scholarship fund through the sale of “Flamin’ Hot University” merchandise by streetwear designer Melody Ehsani.
