Description
We have created a special bus stop against air pollution in big cities. The action takes place in the center of the Moscow, where people are forced to spend a lot of time on the roads and near them due to traffic jams.
The concentration of harmful substances here often exceeds the norm and causes various health problems. For example, in the ranking of Russian cities contaminated with nitrogen dioxide, Moscow ranks first. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is a dangerous toxic gas that causes respiratory symptoms and lung diseases during acute exposure and increases the risk of chronic diseases with prolonged exposure.
The mechanics of the non-standard stop was that when the concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the permissible level, oxygen masks such as those used in airplanes dropped out of hidden compartments in the roof of the stop.
