Description
We've teamed up with Teenage Engineering to create Big Cheer, a live online/offline installation that allows people from all over the world to cheer on their football heroes and teams via twitter, SMS and online. All tweets including the #bigcheer hashtag, text messages to our number and website cheers from http://www.bigcheer.com are printed live on pieces of confetti in a large glass box situated in the Ericsson HQ. The installation and live printing is streamed back to the site to allow participants to see their personal cheer being printed live. They can follow the installation via the overall installation cam or via one of four printer cams that records everything taking place. A fan in the bottom of the glass box keeps the confetti spinning and each goal scored in the worldcup is of course celebrated with a confetti fanfare. On the site you also have the opportunity to replay the last goal fanfare and browse through videos of all cheers being printed. The installation will be live during the whole tournament.
