Founded in 2021, Flexcar is a month-to-month flexible car lease company headquartered in Massachusetts. Over the last four years, Flexcar has expanded into markets along the East Coast, and drivers have driven more than 150 million miles in Flexcars.
Amidst Flexcar’s customer growth and expansion into new markets, the company partnered with creative agency, Honey Copy, to revamp the Flexcar story and share it with the world. This campaign focused on developing messaging and imagery centered around reimagining car ownership entirely.
As an essential element of the campaign, Honey Copy emphasized that flexibility is synonymous with freedom. With numerous studies clearly showing that Millennials and Gen Z prefer to rent rather than own a car, the imagery and copy was geared towards drivers under 40.
Affordable luxury was a second key theme of the campaign. Honey Copy developed a clear and compelling message that drivers could access premium vehicles without having to pay a large down payment or sign a lengthy loan contract.
