would have been better if all of the examples used buildings or geographic features in the same way as the swimmer... sideways runners and basketball players seem like a cop out.

Started out ok, then all I saw was worn down buildings in slow mo.
Started out like Inception, ended with the horrible brazilian cliche kid on the beach.

I would use a better VO as well.
