I've been a member of Ads of the World for a little over 2 yrs, and there are some disturbing things that I have noticed. First, I've noticed that the amount of new material for the exhibition part of the site is, unfortunately, almost devoid of anything new. There are posts as old as 5 yrs.
Hi. Firstly, to know my background, I'm a student at The City College of Technology in Brooklyn, NY. I'm no ad veteran, but I try to find all ways possible to gain experience. This is the first time I'm expressing my advertising ideas to the internet as opposed to the college staff.
Greetings friendlies of the ad world! I need some help, I am scouring the "internets" and can't seem to lock down a serious database of Editorial companies that deal specifically (or for the most part) with tv ads in the Chicago area . Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hello, I am trying to think of an existing tv ad where they have a monitor or tablet, maybe an iPad, and they're showing the background flowing inside of the monitor. Sort of to demonstrate how good it looks. I think there was someone holding it, maybe panning around.
Are using common sayings in a culture a poor way to advertise? I think as long as you can write copy around a very popular phrase it could do well. But I also wonder if it could be a pitfall, because you don't know how many people truly are familiar with the popular saying.
