How nicely degrading. If this ad original intention was to objectify women, it could not have accomplished it's goal more completely. I am disgusted by this lack of regard and respect.
Boys have to train themselves not to think of girls as something to be
desired. The less attractive you all are...the easier it becomes. If you
don't want attention, don't dress for it. These boys are following the
very same instincts that keep the species intact. Don't be a dodo and
suggest that rewiring their drives will make you a better human. Girls
never are accused of these things. I guess they are better at hiding
their instincts.
Amazing, if it was making fun of a guy masturbating, you would have laughed like crazy. I think I relfect the genuine sentiment here that if you don't want the attention dress accordingly. Stop with the push-up-bras and the make-up. In fact the uglier you make yourself the less guys will want you.
Yes means No? Grow the hell up! If you want to stop selling sex then stop renting your T&A!
Well, yeah, but I think, in restrospect, she enjoyed it.
id hit it
Imagine the guys in this ad learing at your sister, mother or wife. Ads shape desire and teach us to want things we do not need. They sell us a lifestyle, an ideology.
So what? That doesn't have anything to do with me.
*Yawn* It happens. Get over it.
Too right! Ads are supposed to provoke and be remembered.
disgusting and attractive ad.
not so different from any coke nike or USARMY billboard.
I wish I could be in that ad, but unfortunately i'm not hot enough. My ass is too big, and my boobs are too small. She's lucky guys see her as a sex object.
What a bunch of pathetic feminists, if it was a male it would have been fine I guess. Get over it.
good ad for a crappy game
Whatever the content, it is achieving it's desired effect: everyone is talking about it, good or bad. Curiosity will win out, lots more people than on this blog will want to know what everyone is talking about and they will receive some accidental sales.

Lazy idea. Video game control in real life? Been done, many times, better than this.
She looks great though.
hal kn
It makes me embarrased to be a man. I never played with barbie-dolls as a kid and I am not about to start now. A stupid idea for a lazy client.
Quoting "I wish I could be in that ad, but unfortunately i'm not hot enough. My ass is too big, and my boobs are too small. She's lucky guys see her as a sex object."
I bet you could be in that ad. They are modifying everything, including ass and boobs. :D
Wow, everyone really gets deep into these ads don't they?
I think it was a great commercial, though I probably won't buy the game. So the commercial failed.
you have to admit...this will sell a hell of a lot more games than it would without the girl...
plus...she was SUPER hot
Gamers + boobs are a match made in heaven.
I've seen that ad way before, and I might say that the concept is great! It's would definitely attract more people in it. Ads are made to be that way. :)
I think the ad is awesome, as it appeals to the target market. Surveys have shown that the average gamer is thirty years old, sadly
enough. As far as the ad objectifying women, it's rather unessential. Just like a woman might want to customize their man by having
him wear nice clothes and have a six-pack, men do the same with cars and might want to do the same with women (sometimes). It's simply
emphasizing how much customization you are allowed to do in the game, which gamers love. Only prob with the ad is that it can't be
shown on TV, but otherwise it's fantastic.
I think you are forgetting one minor technicality in your pro-feminist yarn, the woman in this advert has most likely volunteered and auditioned for this role, and got paid a hell of a lot of money for doing it in the process.
No one is being victimised here. Thousands of men and women accross the world offer to show their bodyies to people who pay enough to see them. Some of them get their kicks from it, some don't, but they weren't forced into entering their line of work and last time I checked, this is a free country and they have an option to leave whenever they want, unlike what the world would be like with people like you in power...
In case you aren't aware, the target audience for this ad loves naked breasts just as much as they love games. Just because this spot didn't resonate with you doesn't mean there aren't a million sex starved teens and adults out there that saw God the few times that boobs were flashed in front of their faces. Though this ad is not particularly that innovative or creative it is highly memorable and clearly worth talking about (view all comments above). I am certain that every gamer that has seen this has passed it forward, which is exactly what it was designed for.
Now if you'll excuse me... I have to go spend some private time in the men's room.
Great viral ad...
design is like a puzzle... I`m just trying to solve it now
