the guest above must understand that when an
idea is as good as this one, everybody ensures
their names in the credits.
applauds have also taken a hit with the recession...
so why not milk the most of whatever's there.

ok seriously now... are all the above posters from this agency or did i miss a crucial ultra-creative part of this ad. to me its "humm what else folds...AHA!". its okay-ish, but im not even close to be blown away by this one...

Quite really.

simplify and smart..love it

Guest's picture

Is there somebody who could explain what it means really? Ok, It's a folded bike on a folded sheet of paper...so, what's the big deal?

A stranger abroad's picture 435 pencils

Wow. Such acclaim!

I wonder if any of the people proclaiming it brilliant understand it enough to answer some obvious questions:

What medium is this? Are we looking at a huge billboard? Or a mailer that folded down to something the size of a postage stamp? Is it a newspaper ad? Or a folded magazine insert?

Are the folds real? Or photographed and printed? Is it seen as is? Or experienced as it is folded out?

It is not possible to tell from the picture. But it would make a big difference to how it is perceived by readers.

Just personally I would not be prepared to crown it as 'brilliant' before I understood what it is or how it works.

Crave's picture 95 pencils

this idea is too literal, 'fold', no good.

Davai's picture 559 pencils

I agree with you. Why are you guys so excited with a so simple and literal idea ?
