Xbox Forza Motorsport 3: An Open Door

Your rating: None Average: 6.2 (24 votes)

An Open Door, which will be released as both a :30 and :60, conveys the racing simulator's hardcore car culture through dramatic shots of some of the world's most notorious racing machines transposed against wind tunnels, workshops, or scenes of tremendous natural beauty. Varied and shifting lighting speak to the game's astounding variety, as the races take place all over the world, in all sorts of weather and light conditions.

Hard to see the strategy here really. More so when I read the explanation:

"the world's most notorious racing machines transposed against wind tunnels, workshops, or scenes of tremendous natural beauty."

But we aren't seeing how the game represents tremendous natural beauty. We're seeing a series of mostly static shots of real world cars against which the in-game car appears as beautiful but "fake".

And the weather conditions? I know what weather conditions look like but how does that translate into the game?

I know this game is beautiful. I know it will probably be exciting. But I don't know that from this ad.

Wasted oppertunity, doesn't show the essence of the game

I like this. This IS the essence of the game: the best cars in the world, waiting on the best roads in the world, idling, with the doors open.

The only problem I have with it is the shots of the cars INSIDE, where you couldn't exactly jump in and go. That's where it misses. Shame, too. Because it could've been perfect.

Totally agree Sirvan. It's just what i thought when i understand the intention of the idea.

Perhaps some words at the end, to explain the doors open.

"come in"
" what are you waiting?"

etc...

In the begining I thought that drivers left their car to go I don't know where.

Agree. Couldn't hurt.

i like this. the line at the end "jump in" is enough to explain the message.

Thanks for the great clip. This is going to be at the top of gamer's Christmas lists, I am sure. These cars are awesome looking. We will continue to check back here for more in the future. casino en ligne

Well if you have ever played Forza, or other racing games using supercars like I did, I watch this and I just felt like getting the game now.... That's what it is all about.
