The new Volkswagen image film coproduced by Sehsucht and BM8 (Hamburg/Germany) and directed by Ole Peters and Hans-Christoph Schultheiss of Sehsucht, propagates a resource-efficient, climate- and eco-friendly way of living. The three-minute animation film illustrates how to explore savings potential, efficient driving and green-minded actions and will be shown at Paris auto motor show this fall starting October 2nd. The film is part of Volkswagen THINK BLUE campaign and was commissioned by Tillmann Stauske and Janine Glahn, Volkswagen fair, congress and events dept.

Yep, although it's a fine-looking job, I share that last complaint with you. i think it's the right ad for the wrong client. It's use by a car company is somewhat fraudulent. No one should feel that great about driving a car.

They might of been also trying to position the colour of their brand towards blue. If you notice at the end they display their logo right after the slogan. Unless I'm mistaken, not a lot of other car manufacturers promote their brand colour.

Love the idea that this is positioning the brand as eco-friendly, not just the cars. The gas mileage and hybrid commercials are starting to get old
