Wait a minute. No bottled water company can say that they are protecting the environment. Bottling water is one the most wasteful things anybody can do. The biggest hyperbole ever.

Christ, does it really matter what colour the kids are? God. How archaic.

The ad is ok. Nothing spectacular.

It mattered over 500 years!!!! People been murdered because of that!
Especially in South Africa they've been people of 3rd class. Even under animals.
And still they are not equated.
In a country where over 50% are blacks; what are you trying to communicate if you only show a puff of black kids?

are the target audience white kids/people?
are them the only ones who drink water?

my guess is that because backs in south africa are less affluent, they're less likely to buy a pretentious bottled water. so not really their target.

Pedro's probably absolutely right.

There is no need to pull the race card on something like this, just because it's South African. That's just ridiculous. Yes, racism caused a lot of kak in the world. But I don't think an ad for spring water will aggravate, stoke or inhibit any racist tendencies. Let's get some perspective here, people.
