CHao, pardillo!

Music choice feels like a cop out, but overall nice.

There seems to be a bit of a disconnect between the beginning and end: "in X country they do this..." which transitions to "in Argentina, Football is like this..." Unfortunately, the logic doesn't flow well. It was interesting and entertaining, though.

Thought the same thing sirvan, didn't really see that entire connection. Either way I thought it was great. Loved the music, anyone know what it is?

Oddly enough - I'm pretty sure Lil Jon uses that song in his "Throw It Up". It's sped up though.

Edit: Song is Requeim For A Dream (soundtrack).

Its basically just something that being in Argentina you notice a lot. People are always remarking about how everything works in other nations like the US, Uk, Europe, etc. (even though it's not necessarily true) and how jealous they are of how well mannered other people are, how clean their streets are, how organised everything is. So the advert here is just trying to provide them with some patriotism by saying, ok, it's true - our country is in a bit of a mess and we do look up at these countries but people who come from these countries, at least when they come to Argentina they are wowed by our football, by how passionate they are, how great the atmosphere is in the stadiums, how they live and breathe football. It is not, as someone here states an excuse for all their problems, but with all the problems they do have, football is an escape for many Argentines. Something to get them away from all their troubles that have been brought about by corrupt governments, dictators and in many ways, their own flaws.

So I suppose you have to be an Argentine or at least have been to Argentina to totally understand the links. It was made mainly to get people excited about the World Cup and feel good about themselves for a change.

Well done, but the "awesomeness" that non-argentinians show for Argentina is totally unreal. Nice production, bad script.

football is the excuse for the culture problem?

Another Argentine patriotic documentary, produced by the dozen for each football world cup. As always the production and direction are impeccable and achieve that atmosphere of steroid ego that they love.

Having a good national soccer teams shouldn't be an excuse for bad politicians or social / cultural issues. But is always a great excuse for good advertising.

There's something about the script I can't entirely like... But it was an entertaining ad... a little too cheesy and idealistic for my taste... but it shows potential
