No, the balls were specially manufactured for this advert and eacxh weighted 7 kilograms (app. 15 pounds)

lol for the comment about the ball hitting the earth. man, i thought about that too, it will strike hard as a meteorite, hopefully not on a poor guy's roof.
all the balls were about 7kgs each. and when they hit the ground with 280 kmph they created a crater which had a diameter of about a meter.
that's why we shot the film on a 40kms square desert like environment, where there was no living creature of any kind.
