Tjäreborg: Instant Holiday, 4

We picked a family at random and flew them from the freezing Finnish winter to the searing hot beaches of Phuket, Thailand with three-hours notice. What happened at their Tjäreborg destination? We revealed that in the "Lähdetjä lomalle" minireality-show, which was shown on TV and online around Christmas with the family ending up interviewed by the daily tabloid Ilta-Sanomat. And sales of summer vacation packages increased by 88%.

This is an entertaining campaign, but it does not tell me anything about the brand. Is it cheap, fast, good, etc.? I have no idea. The only thing I know is they are kinda funny and family friendly I guess.

It's obviously not a brand ad. It's hard working retail. And judging from the increase in sales, it worked its arse off.
