The 14th Cinemanila International Film Festival: Widows

O, light, in the cold night
You're like a star in the sky
O, light, in the quiet night
Your picture, Neneng
makes one hurt. Oh!
Awake and arise from slumber
From your sleep so deep
Open your window
and look out to me
So that you may understand
my true lament.
We remember the men who sang for the women they loved.
In memory of the lost art of Harana (the Serenade)
Stories live on. Cinemanila International Film Festival.

heartwarming, so touching, the filipinos (even the oldies) will reminisce the good ol' days of being serenaded by numerous suitors in their houses, before technology has gradually shut it up. napakiyak na nga ako sa may bandang huli, eh? (i almost cried on the end part of the video). great job you guys at TBWA/SMP PHL did for Cinemanila. bravo!!!
