Okay, this is clearly a takeoff on all those "torture porn" movies like "Hostel" and "Saw".
Does this look anything like "Hostel" or "Saw"?
Does this even look like a typical Kiefer-Sutherland-"interrogates"-terrorists episode of "24"?
Of course not. Because a torture scene needs to be really really DARK and SCARY.
This ad is the very definition of creative chickening out.
