great, another 'we're trying so hard to be a weird spot' spot...when is this trend going to end, EVERYONE is doing it....

agree the whole weird thing is getting played, but this is pretty good. chiat pretty much perfected this style.

It looks like a category thing (be smart, think stupid. Anything goes, there is no such thing like a bad idea) ...Orbit, Wrigleys, Altoids, Juicy Fruit, Orbit White, Skittles... Does sugar rush make you high?

Weird is wonderful. "nycCreative", would you rather Snickers describe to you what chocolate tastes like? Or what a tasty combination peanuts and chocolate makes? Perhaps those are the types of spots you create (if you're actually creating any spots at all), but we have enough boring, bland, normal (non-wierd) ads out there as it is. Bring on the wierd.

laserbeak...weird was wonderful like 4 years ago, i had no issue with it then...but like many other styles of advertising it got played out, sorry..it happens...and i have produced spots that could have been put in the catagory of 'weird'..but fortunately, i didnt go that route, like i know many agencies don't need to do anymore as well...

Did Satchi do these?

Doesn't feel funny at all. Are those two supposed to be the cavemen from those Geico ads?

yeah, they are younger brothers or when when they are young. i don't think some of these guys knows what geico is.
