The ads were banned from the Superbowl when Peta tried to submit them to Fox. The network turned down $4.2 million from Norfolk-based PETA, which sought to broadcast two ads targeting Kentucky Fried Chicken. The spots were to air during Super Bowl XLII, which had its biggest audience ever with nearly 100 million viewers.

I guess it all goes back to - "does it matter how it dies?"

I just LOVE Terrorist Propaganda first thing in the morning. Hmmm... makes me want to go have a nice chicken sandwich for lunch... mmmm mmmm good. Animals DONT = People.... Sick Twisted Brainwashed Fools = PETA... GOSH I can't wait for hunting season... I do like the commercials by the way... nicely done, good art direction...

Sorry,

"If God didn't want you to eat them, he would've made them fly."

• I feel a quote coming on from a useful idiot - Ingrid Newkirk of PETA.

If a girl gets sexual pleasure, from riding a horse, does the horse suffer? If not, who cares? If you French kiss your dog, and he or she thinks it's great, is it wrong? We believe all exploitation and abuse is wrong. If it isn't exploitation and abuse, it may not be wrong.
New York Times, 2001[15][16] - Ingrid Newkirk
