sweet effects, but doesn't make me want to buy it.
Not much of an idea, but superb production for an adertising school. I think you should reconsider your career path mate, there's a great producer inside you.
it's rather likely this is a kid from the film department, meaning he wants to be a director, not an art director. in which case he's proven he can get good-looking footage on screen and does nice SFX but isn't really good in casting or getting interesting performances out of actors. (he smile? dude, it couldn't be any more fake if it had a fedora.)
anyway, nice going. not quite as good as the kid who did the canon commercials but a nice start.
(full disclosure: I'm an art center grad myself. roland is king.)
It's not bad for student work.
What hath God wrought
Try having a concept. Then again, half the time Weiden doesn't have concepts for Nike.
its a good start for an art school. keep going and practising.

Yeah, this just doesn't work for me. No energy from the actors, concept is lukewarm at best. The execution is good, I suppose, but it is hard for me to see it when distracted by everything else. But for student work, very impressive indeed.
Spoken like a true asshole...
Whoever did this? Get ready to make a *really* fast remake. Tron 3D is out in 2 weeks, and this has hints of that all over. All you need to add is a competitive spirit between these two characters, and you've got Light Cycles right there. Failing that, develop it into a climbing wall, and there's your idea.
I like it!
