"Broken" is a P.S.A. (Public Service Announcement) commercial done for the National Children and Violence Trust, a non-profit organization that provides counseling for abused women and children.
Sometimes there's nothing wrong with a literal execution of a simple idea.I think this ad was waiting for CG to make it possible, and even though the patch on the girl's face may look a little clumsy, it still works visually. The tag 'picking up the pieces' is to-the-point, given that this is an aftercare counselling service, so yes, I hope this gets the message out that there're people to help.
I concur with CP, this is an instance where the dreaded "See & Say" is actually fine. Very affecting piece.
