the association of gays with aids could be offensive to homosexuals. other than that, this was pretty forgettable.

Btw. I don't see how can be offensive to gay people, your comment should be more offensive that this video that don't have anything to be offensive.
AIDS don't "choose", ages, sex or sexual orientation.
like a few others have said, you don't really notice him writing other girl's names. in which case, the takeaway could be he's gay so he better watch out for aids. there could also be a cultural element where gays in some countries would be more sensitive than those in others. i'd be surprised if some in the states wouldn't get upset. but who knows.
Gays have aids. Lesbians have aids. Heterosexuals have aids. Treelovers have aids.
