Microsoft Xbox Halo Reach: Deliver Hope

This week, Xbox continues to roll out its biggest title launch in history: the Halo: Reach campaign. We can now unveil “Deliver Hope,” the dramatic third act in the series of live-action ads from agencytwofifteen and acclaimed director Noam Murro (Biscuit Filmworks), who directed all the film content for the “Remember Reach” campaign, including the “Birth of a Spartan” film and the online films about the day before the attack. True to the spirit of past Halo campaigns, the Halo: Reach effort is of an epic scale, more like a Hollywood blockbuster than a traditional gaming campaign.

Great games suck you into their worlds and story and that is what this commercial tries to do. And quite good I'd say!

Though that soldier falling from the explosion looked like Woody from Toy Story ;p

Just like that Heavenly Sword game which was similarly pitched through its ad, Xbox has absolutely no problem in the advertising department. That was splendid!

Bring that to a movie or game and I'll be there.
