I like the copy - it's not trying to be hyper-intellectual, it's down-to-earth and simple + the nice melody of the voice-over.
Still I wouldn't consider Mercedes.

It's been a loooooong time since an ad, or i should say THE ad, gave me such a pleasure to watch and listen to. It's genius. Stunningly written and crafted. It's not a genius idea, but surely it's been rediscoverd anew in such a beautiful way. It's the highest level of this industry i think. Really.

So what they're saying is "Mercedes has a lack of options".

Not the best selling point for a luxury car.

Great that people get so easily fooled by a pretty ad with a nice voice.

This is not what they are trying to say, buddy. The idea is that these days we have to make hundreds of decisions, which could be tedious as well as tiring. But when it comes to buying a car, you don't have to spend too much time wondering what to choose/buy. You choose Mercedes. This is my interpretation. It's a lovely ad. I didn't know though that salt comes in different colors or flavors.

I get the idea, it's been done a billion times.

In the world of cars, choice/options are what they are all about. You don't just buy a car and drive out.

IMO - was not the most ideal execution.

Lovely? Sure - effective? Probably not.

The ad was for the mature professional crowd, , they have money, they are well cultured...or consider themselves to be...from what I can see by ads targeting them, they like copy driven stuff....as for an idea..not too much of one, a formulaic tv spot, but for the brief it was nicely done, well shot

Don't like your nose? Fine. Choose another.
Blue was once blue. Not xxxx blue, lavender, xxxx, xxxx, marine.
These days you don't marry for life. You spend your life getting married.
Coffee... xxxx an organic cappuccino with soy milk and glaze saccharin.
Body combat. Spinning. Doesn't anyone just go to the gym.
Infoxication. Thousands of options. Millions of xxxx....
Luckily, there remains some decisions that make themselves.
