To give a little more context: Lidl is a budget supermarket in Europe. Fifteen euros for a bottle of champagne is expensive I think, since you'd expect budget products from them.

15 euros is pretty cheap for a bottle of champagne (would like to know exactly what brand), but I would never, ever buy champagne at Lidl... It'd be like getting a Whopper for my family's Christmas dinner. The ad was kind of nice, but not particularly brilliant or memorable in my humble opinion...

Yeah, so I reckon the ad just doesn't exactly fit the brand.
And to be honest, I wouldn't know the regular price of a bottle of champagne, it just seemed expensive for Lidl, and I think that it is that which matters most (perception).

I kind of got bored at the start waiting to see where it was going. Maybe if there something else going on visually to trigger thoughts on where it might go -- to get the viewer thinking/guessing where it's going -- that could solve that...?

Agree. At 75'', it is very tiring. Apart from that, nice idea for the Lidl image (Lidl is one of the most horrifying shopping experiences).
