This is the exact same spot 3 times in a row.

The idea is "Ask what you can do". So, obviously, Kennedy's famous speech is the influence here, both idea-wise and copy-wise. But that doesn't mean you have to rely on the same verbal device again, and again, and again: "Ask not for a (insert stupid modern Americanism here)". Much less repeat the same ones.

These also manage, somehow, to make JF seem boring.

It's not that contrasting the essence of that speech against all of our society's modern idiocy is a bad direction. It's a great, big strategy. "Ask not for a bailout", now THAT's a rich territory on it's own. Or, since the insinuation is that we're losing our focus as a Country, what would Kennedy think of the Jersey shore?

Also, the call to action "go ahead… ask" is very vague. Almost teaser-ish. I'm left with zero desire to go to that site, even though I'm the bullseye target of these spots: I like JF, I love the US, and I hate fucking bailouts.

But using the "Ask not for _____" device over and over –even using the same examples– is just lazy. And a waste of good talent.

There was a lot more territory to mine here. Shame.
