Hyundai Veloster: Death
The Hyundai Veloster is a remarkable car. It has one door on the left side, and 2 doors on the right. Hyundai asked us to create a television ad. Since the design doesn't have a clear feature, we decided to use safety as our main theme. This commercial was meant to air on Dutch television, but unfortunately not approved by the Hyundai board. (They rated it as 'too shocking for our brand') We were allowed to spread it online however...

Haha, very good demonstration of the product benefit.
What hath God wrought
Stupid spot (and not stupid as in cool stupid.)
why is she sitting in the rear?
senseless spot
Reminds me of the Mercedes vs Death spot, which I am willing to believe inspired this new spot

The difference is that the Mercedes spot was slick and amusing.
So this new spot is not really stupid. Perhaps the car's main (?) benefit is. Give me a car with 2 doors on each side please.
So a woman is sitting in the back seat of a car, with no one in the front passenger seat, and the idiot boyfriend decides to stop in the middle of nowhere on a two lane road and drop her off? Yeah this is totally believable.
The whole ad sucks.
The ad sucks and so does the concept of a 3 door car.
however.. hope for Flitzroy it has the potential to go viral.
I like the ad. Plain, simple and humorous.
Wondering how the spot will work in the UK ;-)
