Your average web film/viral duration: 3 - 5 minutes. Your average consumer's attention span: 5 - 15 seconds.

Unless you have something like Jennifer Anniston, or Diesel Island, or that creepy Mentos guy, or sex, or guts spilled out, you don't really have a web film/viral. And even with them, it's not given that you have a viral.

Poor advertisers, in order to find the holy grail, they have succumbed to the 2 greatest fallacies of the early 21st century: web films/virals and FB apps.
